BUILD a Website with FREE DOMAIN NAME and HOSTING [BEGINNERS GUIDE]
1. Go to your browser and go to freenom.com for your free domain.
2. Click sign-in, then you may use your social sign in - I prefer to use my gmail account.
Some may have trouble using this way to sign-in, like in the picture below. Probably because you have not yet sign up for this. But there is no sign up option here.
If that's the case, you may need to check first if domain name you wish to try using is still available but clicking register a new domain.
We'll do it the other way. Check availability of your domain name first.
Click get it now then select check out.
After check out, this window will appear wherein you have the chance to directly input your e-mail address.
Once you click verify my e-mail address, review and checkout window will be open.
Go to your gmail inbox to click the verification link.
Complete the necessary details needed.
Once complete, click complete order.
Then you will received your order confirmation.
Click here to go your client area and then you will now be redirected to the log-in page
Input your log-in credentials, then congratulations - you are already logged in and you have successfully created your account.
Under Services, click my Domains. Or you may simply click this url.
Congratulations because your free domain is now available. But after this we need to go the infinityfree.com for the free hosting site. When we are done their, we need to connect both accounts so that the domain name we have from freenom will be connected to the hosting site.
Now for free hosting we will now create account at infinity.free.com. Sign-up.
Verify your e-mail by going to your gmail inbox.
Click verify e-mail address.
Then input your log-in details.
And we can now access the site.
They are also selling domain names but we are not going to buy.
Go back to freenom and click manage domain.
Click management tools and nameservers.
This is using the DNS of freenon, but we'll gonna replace that with the DNS of infinityfree.
We'll go back to infinityfree
Then go back again to freenom.com and input the ff and then click change name server.
You will again input your freenom login details prior to this window which will confirm the changes that has been made.
To double check, you may click again the name server to verify if you are now using the name server of infinityfree
